Topping the list included her deputies, namely Ms. Perla C. Tumaliuan as Deputy Administrator for Support Services, and Atty. Marichelle D. De Guzman as Deputy Administrator for Operations. Next on the list was Mr. Carlos Miguel S. Hernandez, Executive Assistant III/Chief of Staff.

The lineup also included special assistants for different areas, namely Ms. Maria Aurora Cristina L. Lim as Special Assistant to the Administrator and CEO for Aviation, Ms. Suzzanne J. Bangsil as Special Assistant to the Administrator and CEO for CEZA Protocols and Employee Development, Ms. Sheila S. Calata as Special Assistant to the Administrator and CEO for Corporate Communications, Ms. Katrina Jennifer Rustia, Special Assistant to the Administrator and CEO for Gaming Operations, and Atty. Fina Bernadette Dela Cuesta Tantuico for the CEZA Corporate Board Affairs.

Sec. Enrile also introduced consultants whose advice and expertise would be highly regarded to help CEZA in many areas. The list included Mr. Ferdinand “Arthur” V. Tupaz Consultant for Investment Relations, Atty. Gil A. Aromin Consultant for Environment, Mr. Christopher S. Aldaba Consultant for Financial Technology, Mr. Grenville James Albano Consultant for Legislative Affairs, and Mr. Christian Nicole S. Sombero for Corporate Communication and Financial Technology.

The CEZA Head conveyed that the completion of CEZA’s key officials would help the Organization reach its desired goals and objectives, vouching for the capabilities and expertise of her team in their respective lines of discipline as she herself has known them personally for a long period of time.

It can be recalled that CEZA has presented its intention to undergo for an organizational rightsizing to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) last month, with the aim of improving organizational efficiency, reducing operational cost and increasing profitability among others.

CEZA’s action of installing manpower augmentation would help streamline its present business operations, improve decision making, operate simultaneously in multiple locations, improve employee performance and focus on customer sales and services.
