First Cagayan Leisure Resorts Corporation (FCLRC) and Foremost Cagayan Development Leisure Corporation (FCDLC) recently co-headed a joint medical and relief mission for the residents of Santa Ana, Cagayan in support of the anti-COVID 19 Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) designed to prevent the spread of the global pandemic.
Secretary Raul Lambino, administrator/CEO of the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), said the real estate and gaming corporations, delivered packages of tests kits, face masks, caps with shields and gloves, washable overalls/gowns with raincoats, vitamins, alcohol, IR thermometers, and disinfectants, among others.
Earlier, Rebcore Builders, Kairo Construction, Helios Group, Unimasters, and Consolidated Luzon Development Corp. also donated sacks of rice, canned goods, anti-bacterial soaps, thermal scanners, and grocery items for distribution to the municipal government of Santa Ana under Mayor Nelson Robinion.
Lambino said the medical and relief missions of the various business locators inside the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport (CSEZFP) are ongoing and are not limited to Santa Ana but include other towns in the province and Northern Luzon where he serves as Presidential Adviser of Malacanang.
He credited the strong leadership of Robinion, also an ex-officio director of CEZA, and the local Inter-Agency Task Force for the zero-COVID 19 records of the municipality since the outbreak of the pandemic last year that has now haunted the entire global community with deaths and millions of suffering patients.
Lambino, meanwhile, appealed to the residents of the different local government units of Northern Luzon to strictly heed the call of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to observe social distancing and regulated travels in support of the ECQ protocols of the national government as the most efficient way to prevent the transfer of COVID-19.
