As part of the efforts of the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) to further elevate its corporate image and enhance its marketability, a Total Image Enhancement Program has been launched on July 10, 2023 at the CEZA NCR Office. Facilitated by Ms. Suzzane Jocson Bangsil, CEZA’s Official Protocol Officer, the Program is participated by the employees of this Authority from NCR and Cagayan offices through a hybrid platform and focuses in developing self-confidence, public relations, customer service skill, and proper office setup through a series of beneficial topics that are identified and tackled progressively.

Specifically, the Program covers topics about wardrobe presentation (clothes and accessories), hair and skin care, visual poise, good grooming and hygiene, and cosmetology. Discussions about social graces, communication etiquette and personal development are also part of the topics lined up for discussion. Moreover, the Program also includes an assessment and guidance in improving the office setup for a more professional and client-receptive atmosphere.

In one of her initial talks, Ms. Bangsil emphasized that one’s self image is his or her self-portrait to the outside world and, thus, it must be taken with care and seriousness because first impressions last. She also added that, while it is true that things may change through time, goodness and righteousness are things that do not change.

Meanwhile, Ms. Perla Tumaliuan, CEZA’s Deputy Administrator for Support Services cum Quality Management Representative, conveyed the importance of a positive total client experience in conducting business and other transactions. She also highlighted that each employee of CEZA is a brand bearer of this Authority, so it is very important that each one carries a professional brand standard at all times and at all places.

Under the new management of this Authority, headed by Sec. Katrina Ponce Enrile, CEZA is set to do a corporate make-over, with the ultimate goal of enhancing its corporate brand, easing doing business with CEZA, and providing more opportunities for growth and expansion.
