Newly appointed CEZA director Engineer Purisimo Lorenzana Tiam

Mr. Tiam, who is native of Nueva Vizcaya will represent the Business and Investment Sector from the municipality of Sta. Ana, for a term of three (3) years, replacing Jose V. Hipolito who contributed significantly to the progress of the agency during his tenure.

The 64-year-old Tiam is a Mechanical Engineer by profession, and in addition to owning and running his own business, has over 30 years of business management experience.

With decades of experience in business, Mr. Tiam is a perfect complement to the board and to the agency, given his wide experience of dealing with business and investments that will greatly benefit CEZA. We look forward to benefiting from his valuable perspectives as we continue to attract foreign and local investments and push our ambitious innovations to transform Cagayan Freeport as the country’s most modern at par with the world’s best cities” said Secretary Raul L. Lambino, administrator, and CEO of CEZA.

Tiam, on his part, promised to do his duties to the best of his ability.

I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members to help them continue to implement the drastic reforms needed for the Cagayan Freeport, for the inclusive growth in Northern Luzon that will improve the quality of life of local residents in Cagayan Valley region,” Tiam said.
