In the recently concluded job fair held by the Department of Labor and Employment – Cagayan Field Office, in collaboration with the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority in Sta. Ana, Cagayan, a total of 130 Cagayano job seekers were hired on the spot.

The event saw a turnout of 732 registrants, with 443 job vacancies offered by 9 local employers. These employers included Succeed Asia Ventures Inc., Hi-Source Service Inc., Kui Business Services Inc., Pacific Solutions Management, Eastern Hawaii Company United, Pax Asia Information Corp., Shanshui Property Management Corp., Pacific Marianas Leisure and Development Inc., and Alpha Fortune Management Solutions Inc.

Available positions ranged from accounting staff, IT staff, HR assistant, cashier, card dealer, shuffler, slot attendant, housekeeping, driver, to nurse roles.

In addition to job placements, guidelines on the payment of final pay and issuance of certificates of employment were discussed during the applicants’ orientation.

Furthermore, the event coincided with the 29th founding anniversary of CEZA, adding significance to the occasion.
