The First CEZA Business Summits successfully transpired on May 21-22, 2018 at the Manila House, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The two-day event was able to gather representatives from various government organizations, media, policy-makers and industry experts, potential investors and businessmen alike, to discuss the plans, development strategies and priority projects of CEZA, as well as its policies, rules and regulations. The event also provided opportunities for investors and business executives to discuss with government officials, policy-makers and decision-makers their investment-related concerns and for CEZA to get firm investment commitments.

The first day was allotted for the CEZA Fintech Summit and brought together fintech players from around the globe to discuss about virtual currency exchanges operations with CEZA. Key players of the industry shared their knowledge and expertise during the Summit. With the theme: “A new Venture in the Valley Unfolds”, the event officially launched CEZA as the emerging fintech hub of Asia. After losing hundreds of millions worth of revenue from gaming operations as a result of the government’s campaign to eradicate illegal gaming operators in 2017, CEZA is set to establish the next “Silicon Valley” of Asia and earn multi-billion from this industry.

The 2018 CEZA investment Summit transpired on the second day, bringing together policy-makers, locators and potential investors and discussed about the incentives, policies, and the exciting new opportunities with CEZA. The participants of this event were able to gain insights on CEZA’s policy directions, plans and priorities, revised and new rules and regulations; to meet other players and discuss possible avenues for partnerships; and to develop and in-depth understanding of CEZA.
