READ: The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) has established its own sanitary landfill.
Leonardo Cruz, OIC, said the project worth P17M has started in 2019 and was completed in September 2021.
He said the landfill will cater solid wastes of all CEZA locators but they are also open to the LGU of Santa Ana to use the facility.
The landfill compound also has a Material Recovery Facility to process recyclable materials.
It also has an agricultural area which will soon be developed into an agri-educational tourism site.
