LOOK: AUSTRALIAN EMBASSY VISITS THE CAGAYAN FREEPORT TO CHECK EXISTING FACILITIES AND TO EXPLORE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Australian Embassy, represented by Political-Economic Counselor – Mr. James Yeomans, and other officials – Ms. Grace Castleburns and Ms. Grace Borja, visited the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport (CSEZFP) on August 16, 2022, to check existing facilities and to explore investment opportunities. Led by CEZA Acting Department Manager for Marketing and Investment Promotions and OIC of Cagayan Offices – Mr. Leonardo C. Cruz, the CEZA team, which also consisted of heads and personnel from various divisions, gave the visitors an investment briefing at Country Inn, Sta. Ana, Cagayan and a tour around the CSEZFP.

This visit became an opportunity for CEZA to promote the CSEZFP by showcasing the existing facilities at the Cagayan Freeport, including the Cagayan North International Airport (CNIA) in Lallo, Cagayan, discussing investment information and providing a platform to discuss other concerns. Consequently, the Australian Embassy is now a partner of CEZA in promoting the CSEZFP to the former’s residents.

This activity is part of CEZA’s continued efforts to generate investment and open local economic opportunities in the Zone dahil #SaCEZAKabahagiKa!
