The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority recorded a remarkable and astonishing crowd of more or less 3,000 locals and foreign nationals accounted by the Philippine National

Police and CEZA Security group as it hosted for the 1 st time the event entitled “CErbeZA- Beerfest in Santa Ana”, a rock solid line-up of live music performances in an open ground concert on the night of June 9, 2019 where people experienced a riveting live performances by the Philippine Marines Band, Mudslide(an all-lady band), DJs Axe, Jude and Christian from Valenzuela City and the main performances from SIAKOL, a renowned band from the 90’s. This is in partnership with San Miguel Corporation and in cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Santa Ana, Cagayan.

The objective of “CErbeZA- Beerfest in Santa Ana” is to gather all officials and staff of CEZA, the local government unit of Santa Ana and partner stakeholders and locators for a night of camaraderie, friendship and fun as it coincides with the week-long celebration of its Patronal Town Fiesta from June 2 to 13, 2019.

The event became a get-together of fun, dancing and singing that fostered friendship, camaraderie and harmonious working relationships between CEZA, LGU Santa Ana, its stakeholders and the community as well. CEZA events management team headed by Secretary Raul Lambino was being represented by the Officer-In-Charge of the CEZA Cagayan Offices Mr. Leonardo Cruz as he welcomed the guests from LGU Santa Ana, CEZA locators and investors and the community who gathered at the vacant lot in front of CEZA Santa Ana Office to watch and anticipate the offering of free beers to them as promised by the Secretary.

CEZA also invited concessionaires from the Santa Ana community to feature their food products for sale in the expanded gastronomy experience from their local pulutan to San Miguel products wherein the community has lined up their stomach with a warm and hearty meal partnering with ice-cold beers that San Miguel has to offer and accordingly, all the foodstuffs they prepared has been sold out during the course of the said event.

Outgoing Mayor Darwin Tobias genuinely thanked the management of CEZA headed by Secretary Lambino and advised the incoming local government head Mayor Nelson Robinion to fully support all the projects and activities of CEZA as it spearheads all economic undertakings happening from a sleepy town to an aggressive and progressive town of Santa Ana, Cagayan.
