The existing “poblacion” in Barangay Centro is proposed to serve as the “Central Business District” of the whole municipality. As Santa Ana’s CBD, the Centro District can accommodate a wide range of land uses, such as commercial offices, commercial retail at the district and neighborhood levels, low to medium density and neighborhood levels, low to medium density residential catering to different income groups, civic and institutional facilities, medical and wellness facilities, schools and colleges, sports centers and MICE facilities. It will also establish a central plaza as a social gathering place for major community events and activities.
Currently, some of this district highlights were already established and in the works. These include the CEZA Corporate Center, CEZA Commercial Center, and CEZA 3-Hole Golf Course and Driving Range.
Also included in the highlights of the Centro District are the Online/Interactive Gaming Operations; Cyber Park; Complex/Hub; Food Processing Industries; CEZA Smart City; and CEZA Convention/Expo Center.
