The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority headed by the A/CEO Secretary Raul Lambino successfully hosted the visit of the Ambassador Club of the Philippines at the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport in Santa Ana, Cagayan on May 31 to June 3, 2019.
Select CEZA Officials presented CEZA’s selling points as an investment destination and laid our predicate for our push to invite more businessmen to invest through our economic zone which provide incentives for foreign investments, as well as into our tourism industry.
They emphasized that the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport is not only a port town but also a manufacturing center, a tourism jewel with pristine beaches, and a growing entertainment destination with something unique to offer, which is financial technology services for cryptocurrency and bitcoin companies, and on-line gaming.
The Ambassador Club of the Philippines is an affiliate of the International Ambassador Club based in Berne, Switzerland. The members were welcomed by the OIC of the Cagayan Offices, Mr. Leonardo C. Cruz and delivered the speech of the Secretary who is on official travel during their visit.
On June 1, 2019, the Ambassador Club of the Philippines held their National Conference at the Blue Coast Hotel in Santa Ana, Cagayan. Discussions and speeches were made that has always stimulated and broaden their knowledge and understanding.
On June 2, 2019, the Ambassador Club of the Philippines was able to see the pristine natural beauty of Santa Ana’ pride, the Palaui Island wherein they were able to feast on fresh seafood and delectable fruits.
