On June 19th, Amb. Wu Hailong, President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) met with Former Philippines President H.E. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The two sides exchanged views on China-Philippines relations and other issues of mutual interest. Amb. Ou Boqian, Vice President of CPIFA was present at the meeting.

The delegation led by H.E. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo visited Beijing from June 18th to 22nd at the invitation of the CPIFA. H.E. Arroyo also met with Luo Shugang, Minister of Culture and Tourism, and Jiang Zengwei, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
