Nat’l m’cross opens at elite CEZA tracks

A world-class Cagayan Economic Zone Authority track in Santa Ana, Cagayan will hosts the second round of the 2018 Philippine championship series of the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (Namssa), the sporting authority for motorcycle sports in the Philippines.

 Also dubbed as the 2018 Ceza-Eastern Hawaii National Motocross Championship, the event set this weekend is one of the many firsts introduced to promote the area as an investment hub, tourism desti- nation and a motorsports venue in Northern Luzon.

“The circuit is 95 percent complete and meets international safety standards,” said Namssa president Stephan Macky Carapiet.

The track was designed and built under the supervision of Namssa, in accordance with the standards of FIM.

The first-ever motocross championship to be staged in Cagayan province has lured elite riders, headed by Motocross Rider of the Year Kenneth San Andres.
